K-12 Teacher

The Legacy School is accepting resumes for a Full-Time K-12 Teacher .

The Legacy School provides an excellent and affordable christian private school education for students in Kindergarten to 12th grades through the use of literature-rich and mastery-based curriculum with Direct Instruction.

We are currently looking for friendly and competent Teachers to join our team. If you are a compassionate and self-motivated individual with a specific interest in education, we urge you to apply!

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

Implementing the approved curriculum, proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.
Working closely with other teammates to develop teaching skills.
Participating in team planning meetings and professional development opportunities.
Behave in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communications while following established guidelines.
Promoting communication between parents and teammates to establish and maintain home-school connections.
Assisting in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.

Qualifications:

Great communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask while prioritize by importance and relevance.
Cool-tempered and positive attitude.
Firm but kind personality.
A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, staff, and parents.
Education degree
Pass a background check.
